The True Ghost Story Contest

Dear Ghosties:

We’re getting close to our first podcast, as Phil and I prepare the material and stories. Phil and I will be recording the show on Monday, 19th October. We’re planning two shows before Halloween. We have some exciting content planned. I’ve just arranged an interview with paranormal author, Rebecca Patrick-Howard. I just read her amazing book, Four Months of Terror from Mistletoe Press. As a girl, Rebecca and her family spent four months in a possessed house in Mount Sterling, Kentucky, and she writes about her experiences. We’re so happy to be able to interview her for our show. Rebecca has gone on to write several more books. I’ve included a link to her book below so you can check it out before the show.

Her book available on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Four-Months-Terror-Haunting-Hauntings-ebook/dp/B00L41SC9K

We also have more ghost stories coming, and Phil and I will be heading out to some local haunted sites. We’ll also be viewing the Indie zombie movie CHOMP and talking about it plus the art of horror film making. We still need more stories! So, we’ve decided to do a contest.

The True Ghost Story Contest:

We’re giving away an award for the best voted story posted on our website.  Every story sent to us will be considered entered into the contest unless stated otherwise in your email. Our audience will vote on the best story in January.

Anthony Rivera, Chief Editor at Grey Matter Press, will award the winner a copy of the anthology Death’s Realm—an anthology that explores both ghosts and the afterlife. Contributors to Death’s Realm include two-time Bram Stoker Award winner and World Fantasy Award nominee Hank Schwaeble; award-winning, Bram Stoker-nominated and Shirley Jackson Award-finalist Stephen Graham Jones; Bram Stoker and Thriller awards nominee JG Faherty and many others.

We’re kicking in a 10$ Amazon gift card to go with the book and a 5$ Amazon gift card to the runner-up. Please see below for contest rules. All previous submitted stories will be entered into the contest if we can still get in contact with the contributors. We will be watching for obvious fictional stories, so save those for fiction contests and markets.
